ACT Fund: Supporting Every Classroom, Empowering Every Student
ABOUT US:
In an ongoing effort to provide the highest educational standards for our student body, the SGPA has established the ACT Fund—the Assistants for Classroom Teachers Fund—with the primary purpose of collecting contributions from private donors to support the employment of Teaching Assistants.
All donations to the ACT Fund are tax-deductible, as the SGPA is a registered 501(c)(3) organization.

Collections Start
January 2026-May 2026
for School year 2026-27
We have begun collecting contributions for the 2026–2027 school year.
Collections will take place from January 2026 through the end of May 2026 for the upcoming school year. Please be sure to include your child’s name when submitting your payment, as your contribution will follow your child into the next school year. The ACT Fund is our sole source of funding to ensure that each classroom has a teaching assistant. Thank you for your continued support

Each school year, the SGPA kindly requests an annual monetary donation per student attending Somerset Gables Academy. Donations follow the student, and contribute toward the salary of their classroom/grade Teaching Assistant for the FOLLOWING school year. All proceeds collected from an SGPA hosted event go toward the ACT Fund.
It is the firm belief of Principal Alamo, the school administration, and the SGPA that Teaching Assistants are an ESSENTIAL COMPONENT to the LEARNING EXPERIENCE at Somerset Gables Academy.
Having Teaching Assistants in the classroom helps to supplement and strengthen our academic program, something we can all agree is vital in today's educational reality!
The SGPA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which means all donations are tax-deductible. Any company or individual can make a donation on behalf of your child. Every dollar donated goes directly toward your child’s classroom and will continue to support them through the next school year. The purpose of the ACT Fund is to ensure that each classroom has a dedicated assistant to help teachers and students every day.
